Trump: The United States Will Participate in the Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that the United States will take part in the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

According to Bizimyol.info, Trump made this statement during his address to the Knesset (Israeli Parliament).

Trump emphasized that residents of the Palestinian territory of Gaza “must focus on restoring the foundations of stability, security, and economic growth.” He added, “As America, we are ready to be a partner in these initiatives, and we will help with this effort.”

“We are going to do something very remarkable — something everyone will want to be part of. It will be called the ‘Peace Council,’” Trump said, noting that the initiative would enable the allocation of financial resources for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

Trump also expressed gratitude to Arab and Islamic countries that support the safe reconstruction of Gaza and its surrounding areas:

“I want to thank the Arab and Islamic nations that are backing the efforts to rebuild Gaza safely. Many Arab countries, including some of the wealthiest, have declared their readiness to contribute extraordinary financial resources toward Gaza’s reconstruction,” he stated.

Trump’s remarks indicate that the United States plans to increase its active involvement in the long-standing Israeli–Palestinian conflict. America’s participation in Gaza’s reconstruction could also revitalize peace negotiations and diplomatic engagement in the region.

At the same time, the support of Arab nations remains crucial for ensuring lasting peace and stability, as they can play a significant role both politically and financially in this rebuilding process.

The reconstruction projects in Gaza are expected to focus not only on repairing infrastructure, but also on improving living standards, tackling unemployment and poverty, and strengthening the local economy.
