Western countries should support Zelensky rather than criticise him, so Ukraine can stop Russia
“Ukraine cannot cope alone with Russia’s aggression. That is why Western countries, European states and other democratic countries stand with Ukraine on this matter. We know that, within the Ramstein format, 55 countries came together and committed themselves to protecting Ukraine from aggression, and that assistance has continued to this day. Of course, if that support continues, Ukraine will grow stronger over time and could even completely liberate its territory.”

This was stated to Bizimyol.info by political analyst Ali Mustafa. The analyst noted that events are indeed moving in that direction.

Regarding calls to criticise or blame Ukraine in all matters, Ali Mustafa said that those who take this view seem to be saying to Ukraine: “Give Russia whatever it wants” — in other words, “don’t get involved, Russia is powerful,” “if Russia is powerful, then it must be right,” “cede the territories it has occupied so the fighting will stop — and if you refuse to do that, then you are to blame.”

“Sometimes President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is criticised — ‘Zelenskyy did this, Zelenskyy did that.’ What, then, is Zelenskyy’s one ‘fault’, or the one ‘fault’ of the Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian armed forces? It is that they are defending their homeland; they will not accept aggression and they are resisting. In every case, it is the aggressor who should be condemned, not those who resist and defend territorial integrity. The aggressor should be told to ‘stop’ and to ‘withdraw,’” the analyst said.

“Regardless of what anyone says, the position of the international community is clear: Russia must end its aggression. There should be a ceasefire. If not, assistance must be provided to Ukraine so that, with its military strength, it can halt the aggression and push the Russians back,” Ali Mustafa emphasized.
